Peppa Pig Competition!

Peppa Pig is one of children’s favourite cartoon characters on our screens at the moment. Her antics with her family and friends are familiar to children but never boring, and the stories sometimes even involve a few tears – though they always end in snorts of laughter!

So on that note, I am delighted to share with you the news that we have five Peppa Pig bundles to giveaway to lucky readers! The bundles each include a copy of Peppa Pig Time for a Story, Peppa Pig Pirate island Sound Book and the Peppa Pig ‘International Day’ DVD. This is a great prize that I’m sure many children will love.

It’s really easy to enter this competition – just leave a comment below on what animal you’d like to be and why. You could also ask your children and share with us their answers for extra entries!

Terms and Conditions

The competition launches on 03.11.11 and closes on the 18.11.11. Entrants must be UK residents aged 18 years or older to enter. The winner will be chosen at random and you agree that by entering your name may be published. Answers should be made in the comments section of the specific competition blog post. The competition is not open to employees or affiliates of Tesco Books or anyone directly connected with the planning or administration of the competition. By taking part in the competition, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them.

I would love to be a bird, I am not fussy about what type as it would be nice to soar into the sky and just take off anywhere as I please. Plus it would be nice to migrate south with this cold weather.

My oldest is three, I just posed this question to her. She says she would like to be a butterfly because they’re pretty.

I want to be a white pussy cat. Looks like an angel, but gets up to so much mischief!! Can sleep all day, curl up in a ball, or stretch out and take the whole double bed! Then they get to play out and party all night !!!

I’ve always wanted to be a cat. Just imagine it! You get to sleep in all the best spots in the house, people open doors at your command, food is provided without you having to raise a paw in effort and you are petted and groomed whenever you want it. And yet you are still fiercely independent and can reward anybody who tries to tamper with you with a sharp smack – or even a bite or scratch if they really deserve it! Asa cat, you really do rule the household.

I would love to be a horse … such graceful elegant and free animals … They have so much power and yet are so loyal to their owners.

My 9 year old daughter wants to be a dolphin because they are very clever and can swim in the ocean all day, and do tricks when she wants to.

My 5 year old wants to be a dog/puppy because she loves dogs and they get to run, jump and play when they want to and have their bellies rubbed and their fur stroked.

Mine seems to be a popular choice already but I would LOVE to be a cat!!

Am busy mummy of 2 running after my litle monsters all day & the thought of being able to curl up somewhere like the laundry bin where no-one can find me and have a good old nap sounds like my idea of heaven!!

Plus, they’re aren’t many who can say they have their own private entrance (albeit a flap in door!) It also comes in handy when you’re in trouble & need to make a quick getaway!

Oh and lastly, the best thing would be being able to climb up high on walls & in trees… I bet you would get to see allsorts of goings on! (Though I’m not a nosey neighbour…. Honest. Ok, well maybe a little bit!)

My Eddie is 15 months old and loves a little pig George, but he cannot yet tell me which animal he would like me to be, probably a teddy bear, as he adores teddies and “bear” is one of a few words he can say.

I was asked this question in a secondary school topic, and being asked again now, I still have the same answer. I would definitely be a Tiger. Too mysterious and magnificent for words. You get to live in the one of the most beautiful places in the world, a fantastic scenic view everywhere you turn your head, and very few are going to challenge you for it! (Aside from the ignorant, man of ourse! )

Hmm, tricky. They’ve all got downsides, I suppose. I’d quite like to be a dolphin, just leaping around and playing all day, but then I’ve been terrified of sharks since my older sister forced me to watch Jaws when I was about 6, so I’m not sure how well I’d cope.

I wouldn’t like to be a rabbit, because if Peppa Pig is anything to go by then they have a helluva time, and work their fingers to the bone. Poor Miss Rabbit.

Maybe a duck. Yeah, let’s say a duck.

I would love to be a cat cause you get to come and go as you please, go in place us humans can’t go and you get well looked after by your owners.

I would love to be a Dolhpin as I think they are elegant, my daughter Tiana who is almost 4 would be a cat as she just loves them
